Spring has sprung on Lake Smith and in our Civic League Neighborhoods. The neighborhoods are afresh with greens and colors of the newly blossoming flowers and growing grass. Remember to enjoy this month before the summer is upon us and we succumb to the VA Humidity.


Upcoming Events to Remember:
  • Saturday May 18 9:30 am - Clean the Lake Day meet at the Duck Crossing (between 900 and 1000 blocks of Five Forks Rd). Participation by land and sea. Bring a rake or hoe to grab items. The Civic League will provided trash bags to hold and collect material. 

  • Tuesday May 21 6:30 pm - the last Civic League Meeting of the civic league year at Bayside Presbyterian Church - come out and enjoy a Potluck Picnic. Hotdogs, Hamburgers, drinks and tableware provided. Bring a small side dish and enjoy some fellowship and friends. The meeting is called to order at 7 pm with speakers provided.

  • Tuesday May 28, 2019 6:30 pm - Lake Smith Terrace Garden Club at Bayside Presbyterian Church - come out and enjoy snacks and a program starting at 7 pm. Guests are welcome. 

  • Tuesday August 6 - National Night out, details coming soon.
